![]() The difference is that where Lemmings is about preserving life, Zombie Night Terror is about the very opposite. Like Lemmings it’s a game of herding large numbers of dumb creatures to their goal, without the whole bunch meeting a gruesome end. Due to the overall quality of the game and how it would be very enjoyable for those who like these types of games, I will recommend the game, but just heed the previous things I said before purchasing this game.Think of Zombie Night Terror as Lemmings meets Dead Rising, or maybe as the game that Tarantino or Robert Rodriguez might have made if they’d been obsessed by the Psygnosis classic. I recommend it for people who like the features I mentioned above, but if those things don't interest you, then there likely isn't much for you with this game. Overall, this game is well-made, but I may just not be the target audience for it. It may not be the most memorable art or story, but I still feel like I should mention it, as it is still well done. The game also featured very nice pixel art and an enjoyable little story. The gameplay is quite solid, but this just isn't the type of gameplay that interests me. You can even give your standard zombies a variety of skills, such as jumping over obstacles or going super speed mode. You have standard zombies, immobile commanding zombies, tank zombies, throwing zombies, and more. ![]() The variety of zombies you can take control of is one of the best parts of this game. The gameplay follows the standard concept of the Lemmings subgenre of commanding a group of zombies that move on their own until you give them a command or evolve a zombie into a commander of their own. It falls within the Lemmings subgenre (Google it if you don't know it because I'm not explaining it), and I would say it is a pretty good iteration within the subgenre. Zombie Night Terror is a game where you control zombies with varying abilities with the goal of completing the goal of the respective level, whether that be killing every living being there or simply reaching the exit. ![]()
